Abstract

The extension project “Science for Adolescents: Integrating Oral, Emotional Health and Citizenship”, developed by Faculdade do Amazonas – IAES in partnership with Escola Municipal Senador Fábio Pereira de Lucena Bittencourt, located in Manaus, in the Nova Esperança neighborhood, aimed to contribute to the comprehensive education of elementary school students through contextualized educational actions. Held throughout 2023, the project promoted interdisciplinary activities involving oral and emotional health, citizenship and social inclusion, with the active participation of students from the Dentistry course. The actions also contributed to the promotion of students' oral and emotional health, strengthened the bond between school and academic community, developed technical and human skills in extension students and reaffirmed the role of extension in social and educational transformation.
