Levantamento de seio maxilar associado a implante imediato: relato de caso

Resumen

A perda dentária é um problema comum que pode afetar a estética e a função oral. Para restaurar a função mastigatória e a aparência, a implantodontia surge como uma solução eficaz. Em casos em que a altura do osso maxilar é insuficiente, pode-se realizar um levantamento do seio maxilar. Nesse procedimento, o seio maxilar é elevado e enxertos ósseos são adicionados para aumentar a espessura do osso, criando assim uma base estável para a colocação de implantes. Os enxertos ósseos são fundamentais em muitos procedimentos de implantodontia. Esses enxertos podem ser obtidos do próprio paciente, de bancos de ossos ou de materiais sintéticos. Eles promovem a regeneração do osso, proporcionando uma estrutura adequada para a fixação dos implantes. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi de relatar um caso clínico de levantamento de seio maxilar utilizando plaqueta rica em fibrina e leucócitos (L-PRF) e enxerto ósseo associado a instalação de implantes imediatos nos elementos 14, 15 e 16. Conclui-se que a técnica de levantamento de seio maxilar com enxerto ósseo e L-PRF para a colocação imediata de implantes é altamente bem-sucedida. Isso se deve à sua baixa taxa de complicações, redução do tempo cirúrgico para uma única sessão e à capacidade de reabilitar o paciente tanto estética quanto funcionalmente.
