When submitting an article to the journal, authors retain the copyright to their work. However, the articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which means:
- Authors agree to allow anyone to copy, distribute, remix, adapt, and create derivative works from the article, including for commercial purposes, as long as proper attribution is given to the original author.
- This license ensures broad dissemination and reuse of the content, promoting open access to knowledge.
Authors retain the right to use and share their work on other platforms or in personal and institutional repositories, provided they acknowledge the original publication in the journal. Additionally, they are free to reuse the material in future works, such as books or book chapters, following the same terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.
