Abstract

Dental fluorosis has rehabilitation with composite resin as an alternative treatment, as well as the products used, it is a challenging task. Fluoride is used to control and prevent caries disease, and is widespread in formulations of toothpastes, gels, solutions, public water supply, addition to salt, on the other hand, dental fluorosis is a change in the enamel that occurs during the process. development of tooth germs, due to exposure to fluoride concentrations above permitted limits. The intensity of the lesions varies, mainly, according to the exposure and the amount of fluoride that is ingested, which compromises the aesthetics of the teeth. As a result, it becomes increasingly a challenge to satisfy the aesthetic requirements of each patient. Among its clinical indications, the creation of direct veneers on the upper anterior teeth has been highlighted, as it effectively corrects asymmetries and colorations. It is, therefore, a lower cost procedure for the patient compared to indirect rehabilitation, as well as high aesthetic performance, predictability and longevity of clinical success.
