Endodontic treatment of anterior tooth with apical lesion in a single session: case report

Endodontic treatment is one of the therapies that has most advanced and sought innovations in the current scenario of dentistry. This innovation is achieved through the search for new medications, new substances for chemical-mechanical preparation, new instruments and techniques for approaching root canals. Some dentists are incorporating the single session into their clinical routine, as it is a more automated therapy and, therefore, it can be performed more quickly. Therefore, the aim of this report is to present an alternative endodontic treatment in a single session with the aid of protaper files in a lower molar of an adolescent patient. The results achieved with the endodontic treatment were excellent, with total sealing of the root canals. Therefore, it is concluded that the endodontic treatment in a single session, when well executed, becomes a great alternative for the Dental Surgeon in view of clinical practice.
