Reabilitação estética de dentes anteriores com clareamento e faceta de resina: relato de caso

A odontologia estética busca constantemente desenvolver técnicas e procedimentos que permitam restaurar a função e a aparência dos dentes comprometidos. No âmbito da reabilitação estética, o clareamento dental e as facetas de resina composta surgem como opções eficazes para devolver a estética e a anatomia adequadas aos dentes anteriores superiores. O presente trabalho teve por objetivo relatar um caso de um paciente do sexo masculino, 21 anos, pardo, natural de Manaus-Amazonas, que compareceu à clínica da Faculdade do Amazonas – IAES, relatando como queixa principal “dente escurecido e menor que os outros”, que causavam comprometimento estético do sorriso. Foi realizada a anamnese e os exames clínicos extra e intrabucal. Nos exames, não foram observados nenhum desvio de normalidade. Observou-se que o paciente apresentava uma desarmonia estética do sorriso devido o elemento dentário 21 apresentar formato irregular, com desgaste, superfície rugosa e coloração amarelada. Como plano de tratamento, foi realizado o clareamento dos elementos dentários, remoção da restauração anterior e implementação da faceta de resina no elemento irregular, devolvendo a estética harmoniosa ao paciente. A abordagem restauradora proporcionou resultados estéticos satisfatórios ao mesmo tempo em que preservou a estrutura dental restante, restaurando a simetria do sorriso, especialmente por ser precedida de um planejamento diagnóstico cuidadoso.
